Overview
Advvy supports multiple MBA (Media Buying Authorisation) template options to accommodate different client requirements, ranging from simple standard layouts to highly customised, branded documents.
MBA templates are client-specific, allowing each client or agency to use a format that best suits their approval and branding needs.
Standard Advvy MBA Template
When to Use
The Standard Advvy MBA Template is recommended when:
A simple, clean layout is sufficient
Standard approval details are required
No complex branding or nested data structures are needed
This option provides a fast and consistent way to generate MBAs without additional development.
Setup Steps
Navigate to Agency Settings → MBA Templates
Upload or edit template components, including:
Logos
Disclaimers
Terms and conditions
Assign the template to the relevant Client record
Once assigned, this template will be used automatically when generating MBAs for that client.
Custom Paginated MBA Template (SSRS / Power BI)
When to Use
A Custom Paginated Template is recommended when:
Complex or highly branded layouts are required
Custom formatting or styling is needed
Multi-section or structured tabular data must be displayed
This approach uses Power BI Paginated Reports (SSRS) to support advanced layout and formatting requirements.
Requirements
The following are required to support a custom paginated template:
Power BI Premium license for the Advvy service account
A paginated report file (.rdl)
Setup Steps
Client supplies a sample layout (Word, PDF, or Excel)
Advvy Support or Development team builds the paginated report
The report is published to a Power BI Premium workspace
The template is assigned to the relevant Client record in Advvy
Generate a sample MBA to test:
Branding
Data accuracy
Formatting and layout

Additional Notes
All MBA templates are client-specific
Different clients can use different templates simultaneously
Advvy provides support for template setup where required
Complex client requirements typically default to the Power BI paginated template approach
