How tasks move through Advvy — from creation to completion, and what you need to do along the way.

What is a Workflow in Advvy?

A workflow is a series of steps that a task moves through before it's complete. In Advvy, workflows are used to make sure the right people review and approve work at the right time — from media plans through to campaign sign-offs.
You don't need to set up workflows yourself — they're configured by your admin team. What you do need to know is how to find tasks assigned to you, take action on them, and understand where things are in the process.

How a Workflow Moves Through Stages

Every workflow follows a defined path. Here's the typical journey:
Task Created
A campaign action

Assigned
Lands with the right
person or team
In Review
Reviewer checks
and takes action
Complete
Approved, rejected,
or escalated
Tip: If a workflow task is rejected, it usually goes back to the previous stage so the original owner can make changes and resubmit. You'll be notified when it comes back to you.

How to Check Your Pending Workflow Items

1
Go to your Workflow queue
Click Workflows in the left-hand menu, or check the Pending Items widget on your Dashboard.

2
Review the task details
Click on any item to open it. You'll see the task description, which campaign it belongs to, who submitted it, and what stage it's at.
3
Take action
Use the buttons at the bottom of the task to ApproveReject, or add a Comment. If you're not the right reviewer, you can Reassign the item.

Key Takeaways

1
Workflows are your to-do list for approvals. If something's waiting on you, it'll appear in your workflow queue and on your dashboard.
2
Tasks move through stages automatically. You don't need to push items forward — just take your action and the system handles the rest.
3
Rejected items go back for revision. If you reject something, the submitter gets notified and can make changes before resubmitting.
4
You can reassign if needed. If a task lands with you by mistake, use the reassign option rather than leaving it sitting.
