Overview

Media Buying Authorisations (MBAs) are generated from Campaign records in Advvy.

An MBA (Media Buying Authorisation) is a formal document generated from a Campaign record. It captures approved budget details and is used to authorise media spend with suppliers. This guide covers how to generate an MBA from an existing Campaign.

Before You Start

Prerequisites

A Campaign record exists and is in an appropriate status (not Draft)
The Campaign has required fields populated: Client, Budget, Dates, and Product
You have access toAdvvy Agency → Campaigns
The MBA template has been configured for your environment

Step-by-Step: Generate an MBA

Follow these steps to generate an MBA from a Campaign.

Open the Campaign

Navigate toAdvvy Agency → Campaignsand open the relevant Campaign record

Navigate to the MBA tab

Within the Campaign record, select theMBAtab from the related records section.

Select Generate MBA

ClickGenerate MBAfrom the ribbon or action bar.

Review the Generated MBA

The MBA document will be created and appear in the MBA list. Open it to review:

Client and Campaign details
Budget authorisation amounts
Date range and media plan summary
Approval status

Submit the MBA for Approval

Once reviewed, use theSubmit for Approvalaction to send the MBA through the approval workflow.

Important: Each Campaign can have multiple MBAs (e.g. one per market or period). Ensure you are generating the MBA for the correct activity.
